Apple's annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) is set to kick off on June 10, with the much-anticipated keynote address scheduled for 10 a.m. PT / 1 p.m. ET at the Apple Park campus in Cupertino, California. The event will run through June 14 and will be held online and free for developers to attend.
Apple is expected to unveil several updates during the keynote, including iOS 18, iPadOS 18, macOS 15, tvOS 18, watchOS 11, and possibly visionOS for its Vision Pro headset. Rumors suggest that iOS 18 may bring AI capabilities to photo editing, messages, emojis and email through integration with Google's Gemini AI. Other potential features include voice memo transcriptions, faster search and a more conversational Siri.
In addition to the keynote address, Apple will also host the Platforms State of the Union and present the Apple Design Awards during WWDC 2024. The company has not yet announced any hardware announcements for this event.
Apple sent out invitations for WWDC 2024 on Tuesday, May 28, with details about the schedule and how developers can attend online or in person. Developers can also request a spot in a WWDC Lab to connect with Apple experts and get hands-on experience with new technologies.
