The Big Ten Conference is set to air nine games on Fox during Friday nights this fall, featuring 12 different teams. Among these games, all four of the Big Ten's newcomers - Washington, Oregon, and UCLA - will play on Friday nights. The first matchup between Iowa and UCLA since January 1, 1986 is also scheduled for a Friday night.
Fox obtained the rights to carry these games by increasing its payment to the Big Ten Conference. The schedule includes a former Rose Bowl battle, a night game in Nebraska, two cross-country clashes, and several reignited rivalries and high-profile collisions.
Washington will open their Friday night schedule with a game against Rutgers on September 27 at 8:00 PM ET/5:00 PM PT. Following this, they will face Michigan State Spartans in Eugene, Oregon, on October 4 at 9:00 PM ET/6:00 PM PT.
Rutgers will travel to USC following Game 1 of the World Series on October 25. The Mountain West Championship concludes the inaugural FOX COLLEGE FOOTBALL FRIDAY slate on December 6.
The Huskies' game at Rutgers, originally scheduled for September 28, has been moved to September 27 at 8:00 p.m. ET/5:00 p.m. PT, while their home game against UCLA on November 16 has been moved to November 15 at 6:00 p.m. PT.
The Big Ten Conference schedule includes games against Weber State and Eastern Michigan before taking on Washington State in the Apple Cup, followed by a first Big Ten Conference game against Northwestern on September 21.
After the game at Rutgers, Washington returns home for a CFP Championship Game rematch with Michigan on October 5. Following this, they have road games at Iowa and Indiana before facing USC in Seattle and Penn State.
The Huskies will have 15 days to prepare for a November 30 regular-season finale against Oregon in Eugene.
