Blizzard Entertainment has confirmed the schedule for BlizzCon 2023. The two-day global gaming convention is set to take place on November 3 and November 4, 2023, at the Anaheim Convention Center in California. The event will focus on Blizzard's key franchises, including Warcraft, Diablo, and Overwatch. The convention will be broadcast both in-person and virtually, with panels dedicated to the company's biggest active titles.
In a departure from previous years, there will be no virtual ticket for BlizzCon 2023. Instead, the entire event will be live-streamed free of charge. This move is expected to increase accessibility for fans who cannot attend the event in person.
One of the highlights of the convention is the updates for World of Warcraft (WoW). The next chapter of WoW, The War Within, will explore subterranean worlds and introduce a new allied race, the Earthen. The Worldsoul Saga, which will span the next three expansions, is set to celebrate 20 years of WoW. WoW Classic: Season of Discovery will introduce class-altering abilities and a new endgame. Cataclysm Classic, the next expansion for WoW Classic, is scheduled to launch in the first half of 2024.
The event also includes a Q&A, live streams, and a Guild Clash tournament, providing a platform for fans to engage with the developers and each other. With a wide range of activities and updates, BlizzCon 2023 promises to be a significant event for the global gaming community.
