British TV presenter Michael Mosley was found dead on the Greek island of Symi on June 9, 2024. The body was identified by Lefteris Papakalodoukas, the island's mayor, who confirmed it was Mosley's during a boat trip near Agia Marina beach.
Mosley went missing on Wednesday afternoon while taking a coastal walk from Agios Nikolaos beach to the fishing village of Pedi. An extensive search-and-rescue operation had been underway since then.
The body was found some 20 meters above Agia Marina beach, lying face-up with a few rocks on top. Police reported that it had been dead for several days.
Mosley is known for popularising intermittent fasting diets and rose to fame with appearances on the BBC. He has written books about diet and exercise, including 'The Fast Diet' co-authored with journalist Mimi Spencer.
He has four children with his wife Clare Bailey Mosley, who is also a doctor, author and health columnist.
