The Cadillac Escalade, a symbol of luxury and American craftsmanship, is set to receive an update for the 2025 model year. The mid-cycle refresh includes new styling elements and technology to align with the upcoming electric Escalade IQ.
Starting from the exterior, Cadillac has redesigned the headlights and running lights of the Escalade. The interior receives a major overhaul, featuring a 55-inch dashboard display borrowed from the Escalade IQ. This massive screen is split into two sections: a 35-inch driver display and a 20-inch passenger display.
The standard Escalade continues to offer Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, in addition to the integrated Google system found in the electric model. A new Executive Second Row package is available, which includes captain's chairs with heating, ventilation, and massage functions for rear passengers.
Cadillac offers three new paint options for the standard Escalade models. The V-series receives a carbon-fiber-themed design to match its high-performance image. Both the 420-horsepower 6.2-liter V8 and the supercharged 682 horsepower version from the V series engine are available for those seeking power.
The Escalade's mid-cycle refresh is crucial for both Cadillac and General Motors, as it leads in U.S. market share of full-size SUVs. The gas-powered Escalade will continue to be powered by two V8 engines, including the supercharged V series performance model capable of 682 horsepower and 653 foot-pounds of torque.
GM plans to increase production of the Cadillac Escalade V-Series performance model due to high demand. The automaker declined to specify how much production will increase, but it aims to maintain exclusivity while meeting customer demand for the pinnacle of Escalade performance, luxury, and craftsmanship.
