Caitlin Clark, the first pick in the 2024 WNBA draft by the Indiana Fever, has made history by signing a multiyear partnership with Wilson Sporting Goods Co. The deal makes Clark the first female athlete to have her own collection with Wilson since Michael Jordan's collection in the 1980s.
Clark will test, advise, and provide feedback on Wilson's basketball products as a brand ambassador. She will also release new collections celebrating her throughout the rest of 2024 and creatively direct her first-ever signature basketball line that is set to debut later this year.
The first collection was released on Wilson's website with a limited edition of gold-colored basketballs featuring Clark's signature. Wilson, which has produced the official ball for the WNBA since 2020, became the official game ball supplier for the league in 1983.
Clark is already making waves in her rookie season with an average of 17.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 5.0 assists while shooting 41.2 percent from the field in her first four games for the Indiana Fever.
The partnership comes after Clark signed a historic eight-year, $28 million deal with Nike that includes a signature shoe and has sponsorship deals with State Farm, Gatorade, Panini America, and Xfinity.
Wilson is known for celebrating iconic moments in sport and aligning with trailblazers who break boundaries. The company's partnership with Clark continues this tradition as she becomes the latest athlete to join their roster of endorsers.
