According to reports from various sources, including the Benton County Coroner Daniel Oxford and Rogers Mayor Greg Hines, two victims have been identified: Linda Dorey, 80, who was killed when a large red oak tree fell on her mobile home in the Monte Ne area; and Joyce Refshauge, 77, who died due to a power outage that prevented her from accessing the oxygen she required as a chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) patient. The National Weather Service confirmed an EF3 tornado occurred in Boone and Marion Counties during the early hours of Sunday morning, causing significant damage and killing four people. Bentonville Schools have announced they will be closing for the remainder of the school year due to extensive damage.
