Former NFL player Daniel Muir and his wife Kristin have been arrested on charges of obstruction of justice and domestic battery respectively, after their teenage son Bryson was found 'safe and well' at their home in Logansport, Indiana. Bryson had been missing for two weeks after being last seen leaving a relative's home in Ohio.
Daniel Muir, 40, played as a defensive tackle for multiple NFL teams including the Indianapolis Colts from 2007 to 2013. The investigation into the family began when Bryson's grandmother reported concerns of domestic battery towards him and he went missing shortly after.
Police attempted to contact Daniel and Kristin Muir but were initially unsuccessful. They later agreed to bring Bryson for an interview with investigators, but then 'backed out of that arrangement,' signaling an unwillingness to cooperate. A silver alert was issued for Bryson on June 21 as he was considered missing and endangered.
