Google is set to release its new Pixel 9 series in August, according to various leaks and rumors. The lineup is expected to include three models: the regular Pixel 9, the Pixel 9 Pro, and the larger Pixel 9 Pro XL. Let's take a closer look at what we know so far.
The smaller Pixel 9 is rumored to have a glossy rear panel and come in Obsidian, Porcelain, Cosmo, and Mojito colors with storage options of 128GB and 256GB priced at €899 and €999 respectively. The Pixel 9 Pro is expected to have a matte finish on the back and come in Obsidian, Porcelain, Hazel, Pink colors with storage options of 128GB, 256GB, and potentially 512GB priced at €1099, €1199, and €1329 respectively. The Pixel 9 Pro XL is rumored to have a larger screen and come in Obsidian, Porcelain, Hazel, Pink colors with storage options of 128GB, 256GB, 512GB and potentially 1TB priced at €1199, €1299, €1429 and €1689 respectively. The Pixel 9 Pro Fold is rumored to come in Obsidian and Porcelain colors with storage options of 256GB and 512GB priced at €1899 and €2029 respectively.
Google may also introduce a feature similar to Apple's Emergency SOS on the Pixel 9 and next Pixel Fold. The company is expected to reveal its new Pixel lineup during a surprise hardware event on August 13th.
A prototype of the 6.1-inch Pixel 9 Pro has been leaked, revealing it will have 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of storage. The device is also rumored to feature an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner for added security.
