Green Bay Packers Announce New President and CEO: Ed Policy
The Green Bay Packers have announced that Ed Policy will be the team's next president, chairman of the board, and CEO. Policy, who currently serves as the Packers' chief operating officer and general counsel, was unanimously approved by the team's board of directors on Monday.
Policy has been with the Packers for 12 seasons and has served in his current role for seven years. He will spend the next year transitioning into his new position before Mark Murphy officially retires in 2025 upon reaching the mandatory retirement age of 70.
During his time with the Packers, Policy has represented the team in legal matters at the league level and spearheaded the development of Titletown, a large public park with outdoor games and activities near Lambeau Field. Before joining the Packers, Policy spent time with the Arena Football League including a stint as commissioner.
Policy is highly respected within the organization and NFL community. Mark Murphy expressed his confidence in Policy's ability to be an excellent steward for the Packers, stating:

He is highly respected within the organization and NFL.
Policy previously worked at the executive level in the Arena Football League and with the NFL before joining the Packers.
He was a leader in the development of Titletown, the commercialized area around Lambeau Field.
