One of the most significant additions to Madden NFL 25 is BOOM Tech, a dynamic physics-based tackling system that unlocks the reengineered Hit Stick. Madden NFL 25 also features improvements in offense, defense, and special teams. Ball Carrier introduces new jukes, spins, hesi-releases to increase offensive immersion. The NFL kickoff rules will be added when the game is released this August. In addition to new branching catches and pass block strategy mechanics, there are also reloaded hit stick mechanics for more realistic hits based on timing and ball carrier control.
Madden NFL Senior Production Director Mike Mahar expressed his excitement about the upcoming release, stating that Madden NFL 25 will look, feel, and sound different from its predecessors. He emphasized the importance of delivering control, depth, and immersion to players. The game is now available for pre-order with a $100 Deluxe Edition offering early access on August 13.
