A series of gruesome discoveries along the shores of Lake Michigan in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, have led investigators to believe that they have found the remains of 19-year-old Sade Robinson. The young woman went missing following a first date with Maxwell Anderson on April 1 and was reported missing on April 2. In the days that followed, several body parts were discovered in various locations around Milwaukee.
On April 6, a human foot was found adjacent to train tracks near the lake. It was later identified as possibly belonging to Robinson. The following day, a severed right leg was discovered at Warnimont Park in Cudahy. This leg has been preliminarily identified as being Robinson's.
On April 18, human remains believed to be those of Sade Robinson were found along the South Milwaukee shoreline. A torso and an arm were discovered on a remote stretch of beach shortly before 7:30 a.m. The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office confirmed that these remains are linked to Sade Robinson.
Maxwell Anderson, 33, has been charged with first-degree intentional homicide, mutilating a corpse, and arson in connection with Robinson's death. He was arrested during a traffic stop on April 4 and remains in the Milwaukee County Jail on $5 million bail.
The investigation into Robinson's disappearance and subsequent discovery of her remains is ongoing. The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office has contracted a sonar detection boat to further search Lake Michigan for any additional body parts that may be present.
Sade Robinson was a student at Milwaukee Area Technical College and had worked at Pizza Shuttle on the east side of Milwaukee for three years. She was known for her dedication to her job and never missed a shift. Her family has launched a GoFundMe account to help pay for her memorial service.
The discovery of Robinson's remains is a tragic reminder of the importance of reporting missing persons and following up on leads in a timely manner.
