Ram has recently revealed two new additions to its 2025 Ram 1500 lineup: the Rebel X and Warlock. These models join the already announced RHO, which boasts a high-performance Hurricane engine and TRX-inspired suspension.
First up is the Rebel X, which sits atop the Rebel trim level. This top-tier model offers additional comfort and capability features for off-road use. The Rebel X comes with Rough Road Cruise Control, a system that maintains speed on dirt roads while continuously adjusting suspension damping and steering weight as needed. It also includes special logo decals, high-bolster seats, paddle shifters and console shifter from the G/T package, red interior accents, 1-inch suspension lift, Bilstein shocks, 33-inch tires on 17-inch wheels with a softer rear anti-roll bar. The Rebel X is powered by the standard output Hurricane twin-turbo 3.0-liter engine and starts at $66,190.
Next is the Warlock, an affordable option that offers some of the core upgrades of the Rebel but without all the extra bells and whistles. The Warlock comes with a skid plate, loads of black accents including dual exhaust tips, 18-inch wheels, a basic 8.4-inch infotainment screen, physical gauge dials and a cloth front bench. It also includes heated front seats, spray-in bedliner and side steps as options. The Warlock is powered by the base Hurricane engine and starts at $56,255.
It's important to note that while both the Rebel X and Warlock offer off-road capabilities, they do not match the extreme performance of the RHO. The RHO comes with a Dana 60 solid axle and electronic rear locker, TRX suspension with rear coil springs, five-link rear suspension, Bilstein Blackhawk E-squared remote-reservoir adaptive shocks and long-travel forged aluminum control arms. It also has a top speed of 118 mph and can tow up to 8,380 pounds.
All three models offer the same Hurricane engine, which produces more horsepower and torque than a Ford F-150 Raptor. The Rebel X and Warlock both have a starting price under $70,000 making them competitive options in the off-road pickup market.
