Theme

Not just black and white

The spangram for today's puzzle is GRAYSCALE. The theme words are: GRAPHITE, FLINT, STEEL, PLATINUM, CHARCOAL and SLATE. The players need to find all of these words in the grid to solve the puzzle. Scanning the letter grid, I found my first word SLATE at the bottom right corner. Then I spotted coal above it but it wasn't the answer. Instead, CHARCOAL turned out to be one of today's answers.

This is when I spotted the word GRAY above it and connected the letters to form today's Spangram which is GRAYSCALE. Finding the remaining words was fairly simple. I found PLATINUM, STEEL, FLINT, in order to wrap up today's puzzle.

If you have scanned this far you are probably ready to see the answers. So let's take a look at today's Strands theme words in Strands: SLATE, CHARCOAL, PLATINUM, GRAPHITE, STEEL, FLINT. Today's theme was “Not just black and white,” and true to it I found the blue and yellow colors in a jiffy. Seconds after scanning the letter grid I found my first word SLATE at the bottom right corner. Then, I spotted coal above it but it wasn't the answer. Instead, CHARCOAL turned out to be one of today's answers.

This is when I spotted the word GRAY above it and connected the letters to form today's Spangram which is GRAYSCALE. Finding the remaining words was fairly simple. I found PLATINUM, STEEL, FLINT in order to wrap up today's puzzle.
