OnePlus, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer, has officially unveiled its latest flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 12, ahead of its global launch slated for early 2024. The announcement was made in China, revealing the device's specifications and features.
The OnePlus 12 is visually striking, featuring green and white variants of the handset in a real-world setting. The design is similar to its predecessor, the OnePlus 11, with the most noticeable difference being the emerald finish. The device also boasts a robust memory with up to 24GB of RAM and a terabyte of storage.
The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip and features a three-camera rear array in collaboration with Hasselblad. The camera system includes a 50MP main shooter, a periscope telephoto lens with a 64MP sensor, and an ultra-wide sensor with 48MP.
The OnePlus 12 also features a curved 6.82-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The display is a BOE AMOLED QHD+ panel with a maximum brightness of 4,500 nits. The device is equipped with a 5,400 mAh battery and supports 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
The OnePlus 12 will run on ColorOS 14.0, as suggested by leaked images. However, it's worth noting that the OnePlus 12 will have a higher price compared to its predecessor, starting at CNY 4,299 in China. Despite the higher price, the OnePlus 12 aims to undercut its main rivals in terms of pricing.
The global launch of the OnePlus 12 is expected in early 2024.
