In a recent event commemorating the 80th anniversary of D-Day in Normandy, France, President Joe Biden looked for his chair before sitting down as social media users circulated a video claiming he was attempting to sit in an invisible chair. The video, which showed Biden’s chair being visible although it is obscured in some sections, was cut before he actually sat down. In its entirety, the footage revealed that Biden paused as U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin was announced as the event's next speaker before sitting down at the same time as French President Emmanuel Macron, their wives and other attendees.
