Proton's photo backup service was first introduced on Android in December 2023. Since then, the company has seen growing demand from iPhone users for a similar offering. Proton believes that photos capture precious moments of life and deserve to be preserved securely. With the new feature, Proton Drive offers a seamless way for users to automatically backup their photos and videos without compromising on security. The free version of Proton Drive includes 5GB of storage, while paid plans offer up to 3TB for those who require more space.
