TAMPA, Florida - A tragic incident occurred early Sunday morning in Tampa, leaving one person dead and three others injured. The victim has been identified as Charles Jones, also known as rapper Foolio. According to reports from multiple sources, including the Tampa Police Department and local news outlets, the shooting took place at a hotel off East Fowler Avenue in the 11000 block of McKinley Drive.

Jones had initially been staying at an Airbnb but was asked to leave due to exceeding occupancy limits. He then moved to a local Holiday Inn, where he was reportedly ambushed in the parking lot. Two cars were shot at during the incident, and both belong to guests trying to get a room at one of the hotels.

The Tampa Police Department is currently investigating what led up to the shooting and working to identify those involved. No arrests have been made as of yet.

Jones was in Tampa for his birthday celebration when the incident occurred. He had posted about his plans on social media, including an Instagram video where he claimed police shut down the initial party and forced them to relocate.

This is not the first time Jones has been involved in a shooting incident. He was shot twice in Jacksonville in the last three years.
