ABC News Parts Ways with Meteorologist Rob Marciano Amidst Allegations of Aggressive Behavior

Rob Marciano, a longtime meteorologist for ABC News and Good Morning America (GMA), has been let go by the network. The reasons for his departure are unclear, but sources suggest that there were complaints about his behavior during his divorce proceedings. Marciano had been with ABC News since 2014 and previously worked at CNN and Entertainment Tonight.

According to reports from The Daily Beast, Marciano was banned from the GMA studio for roughly a year due to allegations of aggressive behavior that made colleagues feel uncomfortable. However, an ABC News spokesperson declined to comment on the matter.

In September 2023, it was announced that Marciano would no longer be providing weather reports for GMA's weekend editions. He was replaced by Somara Theodore. In recent months, Marciano had been appearing on ABC News' nightly news program World News Tonight and making occasional appearances on GMA.

Marciano did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
