The Galaxy Z Flip5 Retro's design is a nod to the SGH-E700, a popular flip phone model from Samsung that was released in 2003. The new device features a similar color scheme, with a silver body and a purple hinge. The external display, which was a key feature of the SGH-E700, has also been incorporated into the Galaxy Z Flip5 Retro. However, unlike the monochrome external display of the SGH-E700, the new device features a color external display that can show notifications and other information.
