According to multiple sources, Creed frontman Scott Stapp and his wife Jaclyn are divorcing after 18 years of marriage.
The couple, who have three children together: Milan (daughter), Daniel (son), and Anthony (son), had a history of attempting to reconcile despite previous divorce filings. Jaclyn filed for divorce in June 2022 but withdrew the documents, while Scott filed in May 2023.
Scott originally filed for divorce in May 2023, but the proceedings were private. The couple's marriage had been a learning experience for both parties and was considered over despite their efforts to make it work.
Despite the circumstances, Scott took to Facebook on their 14th wedding anniversary in 2020 to pay tribute to Jaclyn, expressing his gratitude for her love and commitment.
CREED performed two shows as the headliners of the 'Summer Of '99' cruise in April 2023. The band is also embarking on a full-fledged tour, called 'Summer Of '99', which will kick off on July 17 and run through September 28. Another tour, named 'Are You Ready?', will start in November and end in December.
Scott Stapp has a history of addiction issues. He was placed on a 5150 psych hold due to drug use, which led him to seek treatment and get sober.
Background: CREED is an American rock band that formed in Orlando, Florida, in 1993. The band's lineup includes Scott Stapp (lead vocals), Mark Tremonti (guitar), Brian Marshall (bass guitar), and Scott Phillips (drums). They disbanded in 2004 but reunited five years later for the 'Full Circle' LP and an extensive tour. Stapp has since toured and recorded as a solo artist, although he suffered a drug-related mental breakdown in 2014 and spent several years recovering from that.
