A Secret Service agent was robbed at gunpoint during President Joe Biden's California fundraiser on Saturday night.
Last year, a Secret Service member on security detail for Naomi Biden was involved in a similar incident where they fired at suspects attempting to break into a US government vehicle in Washington DC.
President Biden had returned to his hotel prior to the incident following a star-studded campaign fundraiser in Los Angeles.
The agent discharged their weapon during the robbery but it is unknown if they hit the suspect as they have not been located yet.
The incident occurred near a residential community in Tustin, California, at 9:36 p.m. PT.

Last year, a Secret Service member on security detail for Naomi Biden was involved in a similar incident where they fired at suspects attempting to break into a US government vehicle in Washington DC. Two individuals were charged in relation to that break-in earlier this year.
The Tustin Police Department said no suspects have been identified yet and the investigation is ongoing.
