The 2024 BET Awards, hailed as 'culture's biggest night,' are set to take place on June 30 at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. Taraji P. Henson will return as the host for the third time, having previously served in that role for the 2021 and 2022 awards shows.

Usher is set to receive the Lifetime Achievement Award during the ceremony. The R&B superstar has had an impressive career with eight Grammy wins and recently ended his two-year Las Vegas residency, 'Usher: My Way' at the Park MGM. In February, he released his first solo album in eight years.
