Taylor Swift's Eras Tour in Dublin was a star-studded event, with special appearances by Travis Kelce and Julia Roberts.
Travis Kelce, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, made a surprise visit to the final night of Taylor Swift's Eras Tour stop in Dublin on June 30. He attended just one day after attending a teammate's wedding in California.
Fans were thrilled to see Kelce at the show and noticed that Taylor Swift had a noticeable reaction when she spotted him in the crowd. In footage shared on social media, Swift's face lit up as she saw Kelce, and she performed with extra enthusiasm during her performance of 'august.'
Kelce was joined in the VIP tent by actress Julia Roberts and Stevie Nicks. In one clip shared on Twitter, Roberts could be seen putting her hands on Kelce's chest and appearing to tickle and rub him as they chatted. She told him, 'I'm so happy for you guys.'
Swift also had a slight mishap during her performance of 'The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived,' when a platform didn't retract as intended, leaving her stranded on stage. One of her backup dancers came to her aid and assisted her off the platform.
Swift dedicated and sang 'Clara Bow' to Fleetwood Mac legend Stevie Nicks during the surprise songs segment of the show. She also performed 'You're On Your Own, Kid,' which Nicks said in 2023 helped her grieve after bandmate Christine McVie's death.
The Eras Tour stop in Dublin was significant for Swift as she mentioned that Ireland played a big part in the making of her pandemic-era album, Folklore. She told the crowd, 'Folklore in general, it just belongs in Ireland.'
Swift's previous night's gig at Wembley Stadium also had a star-studded crowd with Kelce being seen chatting to Julia Roberts. He was later seen leaving the stadium with Swift after the show.
Despite attending two events back-to-back, Kelce managed to keep his travel plans under wraps and surprised Swift at her Dublin show.
