Boy Meets World alum Trina McGee, 54, is expecting her fourth child.
McGee made the announcement on Instagram on June 3, 2024. In the post, she wrote: “At the tender age of 54 I have found myself pregnant. Please bless us with your prayers for a safe delivery.” The actress is already a mother to three children: two from her previous marriage to Courtland Davis and one from a previous relationship.
McGee met her current husband, Marcello Thedford, while shooting Sylvester Stallone's action-thriller movie Daylight in Rome in 1996. She is best known for playing Angela Moore on Boy Meets World from 1997 to 2000.
The pregnancy announcement comes after McGee shared photos of her vacation at Malacate Beach, Belize, where she was spotted wearing a tropical cropped halter top and long, flowing skirt. An eagle-eyed fan noticed her baby bump in the photo and commented on it.
McGee's followers were shocked by the news of her pregnancy at 54 years old. One person wrote: “54?!?! Years old?!?! I mean yeah congratulations on the baby but how are you 54?!” Another fan chimed in: “So exciting! And like someone else said, how are you 54??”
Despite her age, McGee is not the only celebrity mom to welcome a baby past the age of 50 in recent months. In March 2024, Cameron Diaz and her husband Benji Madden announced the birth of their son, Cardinal, when Diaz was 51.
Last year, supermodel Naomi Campbell announced that she had given birth to her second child, a son, on June 29, 2023, when she was 53.
McGee's pregnancy news comes after Boy Meets World co-star William Daniels reunited with three of his ‘favorite students’ in a rare photo.
