Flight QR107 from Doha to Dublin landed safely at Dublin Airport with six passengers and six crew members reporting injuries.
The Boeing 787 Dreamliner was met by emergency services upon landing, including airport police and fire and rescue teams. All injured passengers were assessed for their injuries on the plane before being taken to hospitals for further treatment. The airport stated that eight of the injured individuals required hospitalization.
In a separate incident, flight QR017 from Doha to Dublin also experienced turbulence while flying over Turkey, resulting in twelve people sustaining injuries. Eight of these injured passengers were hospitalized upon landing at Dublin Airport.
Qatar Airways confirmed that both incidents involved minor injuries and that internal investigations are ongoing.
