The latest episode of Dancing with the Stars 2023, aired on November 7, was a tribute to iconic music videos, featuring Paula Abdul as a guest judge. The night was filled with individual and team performances, with the first group, including Harry Jowsey and Rylee Arnold, Lele Pons and Brandon Armstrong, Xochitl Gomez and Val Chmerkovskiy, and Charity Lawson and Artem Chigvintsev, dancing to 'Gangnam Style'. Their performance was highly appreciated, earning them a perfect score of 40/40.
Despite the high scores and impressive performances, the night ended with an unexpected elimination. YouTuber and actress Lele Pons and her partner Brandon Armstrong, who finished third on the leaderboard for Music Video Night, were not saved by the audience vote. This result surprised the judges and Pons' partner. However, Pons expressed gratitude after being eliminated.
The night also saw Ariana Madix and Pasha Pashkov receiving the highest score of the night, 37 out of 40, for their cha-cha to Britney Spears' 'I'm a Slave 4 U'. Ariana and Pasha and Xochitl and Val tied at the top of the leaderboard with a score of 74. The bottom three included Barry Williams and Peta Murgatroyd, and Charity Lawson and Artem Chigvintsev.
The show, which airs Tuesdays at 8pm ET/PT on ABC, will continue next week with Billy Porter as the guest judge and the couples will dance to Whitney Houston's music.
