In the world of gaming, June 2024 is shaping up to be an exciting month for Xbox Game Pass subscribers. A number of new titles have been announced for the service, providing a diverse range of genres and experiences for players.
First and foremost, fans of role-playing games (RPGs) will be thrilled to know that Octopath Traveler, the critically acclaimed HD-2D RPG from Square Enix, is returning to Game Pass. This title was originally available on the service in 2021 but left earlier this year. Alongside its return, Octopath Traveler's sequel, Octopath Traveler 2, will make its debut on the platform for the first time.
For those seeking a horror experience, The Callisto Protocol from Striking Distance Studios is joining Game Pass on June 13. This sci-fi survival horror game has been described as a spiritual successor to Dead Space and promises to deliver intense suspense and terrifying encounters.
Additionally, Isonzo, a World War I first-person shooter from Blue Byte, will also be available on Game Pass starting June 13. Depersonalization, an intriguing tabletop role-playing game from The Chinese Room (creators of Everybody's Gone to the Rapture), is set to arrive on June 12.
Lastly, Still Wakes the Deep, a survival horror game from The Farm 51 and Black Tower Studios, will be a day one release for Game Pass subscribers on June 18. This title normally retails for $34.99 but will be available to play at no extra cost for those with an active subscription.
Unfortunately, as new titles join the service, others must leave. Five games are set to depart from Game Pass on June 15: Bramble: The Mountain King, High on Life, Rune Factory 4 Special, Spacelines from the Far Out, and The Bookwalker.
These announcements come just before Microsoft's Xbox Games Showcase event scheduled for June 9. It is expected that more titles will be revealed during this presentation. Stay tuned for updates on what else is in store for Xbox Game Pass subscribers in the coming months.
