Dan Berman is an experienced journalist who currently serves as the assistant managing editor for CNN Politics. He leads the digital coverage of legal and justice issues, the Supreme Court, immigration and government agencies and policy at CNN. Prior to joining CNN, Berman worked at National Journal as an assistant managing editor and was the White House editor at POLITICO. He has also held roles in energy and environment journalism. A graduate of Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut, Berman began his career with CNN in 1996 as part of the Children's Express news team covering the Republican National Convention.
