Arlette Saenz is a White House Correspondent for CNN based in Washington, D.C. She previously covered the 2020 presidential campaign and has experience reporting on the Trump and Obama administrations as well as national politics. Saenz joined CNN in 2018 from ABC News where she was an embed during the 2012 presidential campaign. She started her journalism career as an intern with “Nightline” at ABC before returning to the network as a desk assistant. Saenz graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a major in American Studies and a minor in the Hesburgh Program in Public Service.
