Andrés Fuentes is a New Orleans native and a 2020 graduate of Loyola University. He joined the FOX 8 News Team in January 2022 as a Multimedia Journalist. Fuentes is a member of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists and has won awards for his work as a college journalist. In one instance, he reported on a musician who offered a summer music program to a teenager who had stolen his van.
