WGN-TV is a television station in Chicago that went on the air in 1948. The station was founded by Larry Harmon and his father, who had previously worked as a clown named Bozo. In 1960, WGN-TV debuted its own version of Bozo's show called 'Bozo the Clown', which became one of the most popular children's shows in Chicago for decades.
