Kelly Rule

General Assignment Reporter Kelly Rule joined the FOX 29 News team in December 2018 as a general assignment reporter. Prior to returning to her hometown, Kelly worked briefly at FOX 5 in Washington D.C. Her broadcasting career began as a reporter, fill-in producer and anchor for 47ABC in Salisbury, MD. She then took a job as a general assignment reporter for News 3 in Norfolk, VA; then the CW affiliate in Washington, D.C. A graduate of West Chester East High School, Kelly was born in West Chester, PA, and grew up watching FOX 29. She holds a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism from the College of Communications at Penn State University. She interned at FOX 29 in the summer of 2011, and set a goal to return to Philadelphia as soon as possible.
