Gianluca Masi

Gianluca Masi is an Italian astronomer and astrophotographer. He was born on July 12th, 1967 in Rome, Italy. Masi received his full marks in Physics (Astrophysical address) at the University of Rome “La Sapienza” and earned a PhD in Astronomy at the University of Rome “Tor Vergata”. He has been involved in several projects related to astronomy, including studying cosmological distance ladder issues and searching strategies for near-earth objects (NEOs). Masi is also an active member of the staff of the Astronomical Observatory of Campo Catino.
