Doug Ferguson is a golf journalist who has been covering golf events for over 30 years. He joined The Associated Press as a news reporter in 1988 and became its full-time national golf writer in 1998. Throughout his career, he has covered more than 500 golf events including major championships, Ryder Cups, Presidents Cups and Solheim Cups. He is also the recipient of several awards for his work.
