Part of the London newsgathering team, he works across the EMEA region and Latin America, producing cross-platform stories, specializing in news and features. Cotovio joined CNN in 2014 after working as a TV reporter for Portugal’s SIC Noticias. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Media Studies from the Portuguese Catholic University and a Master’s degree in International Relations from Queen Mary University of London.
