Mario Sacco

Mario Sacco is a sports anchor and reporter at NewsChannel 9. He has won four New York State Broadcasters Association awards for his work. He was previously the weekend anchor and Sports Director at WETM NBC 18 in Elmira, where he covered local sports events. Mario is a fan of all Pittsburgh sports teams and Syracuse University. He graduated from Washington & Jefferson College with a degree in political science and later earned his master's degree from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University.
