Daniel Burbank joined the WCHS Eyewitness News team in 2023 as an anchor reporter. Born and raised in the greater metro-area of Philadelphia, Penn., he has deep roots on the East Coast in Charleston, W.Va. You can catch Daniel anchoring Eyewitness News weekends at 6 p.m. and 10 & 11 p.m. His interest in storytelling began at a very young age and followed his career path after touring WCHS-TV at age 5. At six years old, Daniel became the junior radio announcer for a weekly talk show “Festival of the Arts” on WCTC in New Brunswick, N.J. He gained more on-camera experience acting in blockbuster movies for M. Night Shyamalan and Sylvester Stallone.
