Raquel Ciampi

Raquel Ciampi is a reporter for WMTW News. She covers local news in Maine and has been with the station since 2019. She joined the Maine's CW team as an anchor/reporter in June of 2018 after spending two years at KXLY TV in Spokane, Washington. There she covered a variety of stories including breaking news, weather and sports. Before moving to the Pacific Northwest, Raquel was based in Bangor where she worked as an anchor/reporter for WABI TV5 from 2014-2016. Raquel is a proud graduate of Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications with a degree in Broadcast Journalism and minors in Spanish and Political Science. She was born and raised in Massachusetts but fell in love with Maine during her time at college. Raquel is passionate about telling stories that matter to the people of Maine. She enjoys meeting new people, exploring new places and learning something new every day.
