Tim Kelly

Tim Kelly is a professional football coach who has served as the passing game coordinator and later the offensive coordinator for the Houston Texans. In 2023, he was promoted to the role of offensive coordinator for the Tennessee Titans after their previous coaching staff reorganization. The Titans also hired Chris London as passing game coordinator/quarterbacks coach and Chris Harris as defensive pass game coordinator/cornerbacks coach at this time. Kelly's tenure with the Texans saw them finish no better than 13th in offense during his three years as their offensive coordinator, and last in overall production in 2021. Despite this, he was promoted to passing game coordinator for the Titans, who ranked 30th in passing offense. The Titans chose to promote from within despite their struggling offense, which some saw as a surprising decision given the lack of production. Kelly had been considered the favorite for the position since the previous coordinator's dismissal.
