Chip Scarborough is a dedicated journalist with experience in covering severe weather events and other significant local stories. He has worked for multiple news stations, including WVTM in Birmingham, Alabama, where he spent nine years as a reporter and fill-in anchor. Chip has covered numerous rounds of severe weather and major events such as the Alabama Crimson Tide football team's National Championship victories. Prior to his time in Birmingham, he worked for four years at WTOK-TV in Meridian, Mississippi, where he covered the deadly tornado outbreak on April 27th, 2011. Chip is a graduate of the University of Georgia and holds a degree in broadcast news from the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication.
