Daniel Arkin
Alan Arkin is an American actor and writer who has been nominated for numerous awards throughout his career. Born on March 20, 1934 in Brooklyn, New York, Alan was the son of Russian-Jewish immigrants. He began acting at a young age and made his Broadway debut in 1956. He gained fame for his roles in films such as The Russians Are Coming, the Russians Are Here (1966), Wait Until Dark (1967), Cat Ballou (1965) and Little Miss Marker (1980). He also won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in Arthur Miller's The Man Who Had All the Luck (2003). In addition to his film career, Alan has appeared on numerous television shows, including The Golden Girls, Everybody Loves Raymond and Law & Order: SVU.
