Scott McDonald is an associate overnight editor who began with Fox News Digital in March 2024. He's a veteran of the U.S. Navy (Gunner's Mate) who began his journalism career as a sports writer after studying at the University of Texas. He covered high school and college sports at The Dallas Morning News, then became an editor and publisher at newspapers in Texas. McDonald entered the digital world and has since worked for Patch and Newsweek before coming to Fox. He's covered the death of President George H.W. Bush, major hurricanes in Texas (Harvey) and Florida (Ian), midterm elections, presidential elections, current wars, Covid-19, Super Bowls and notable Olympians.
