Allison Gargaro is a meteorologist at FOX 26 Houston. She joined the team from WOFL in Orlando, Florida where she covered many severe weather events, including hurricanes Ian, Nicole and Idalia. Allison grew up in a suburb of Detroit, Michigan and moved to Arizona for college before completing her meteorology certification at Mississippi State University. She has worked as an on-air meteorologist and cooking show host in various markets such as Bakersfield, California where she wrote a cookbook that raised money for charity. Allison enjoys cooking, staying active, reading and walking with her golden retriever puppy Ryder. Her husband grew up in Cypress.
