Anna Kaplan

Anna Kaplan is a talented athlete who has excelled in both lacrosse and basketball. She has been named a finalist for the Reading Eagle Female Athlete of the Year award due to her impressive athletic achievements. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated tireless work ethic, selfless leadership, and exceptional athletic abilities. Kaplan played a crucial role in leading Twin Valley girls lacrosse team to its first District 3 Class 2A championship and an unprecedented appearance in a PIAA final. She scored the game-winning goal off a penalty shot with 19 seconds to go during the district final, finishing with a team-high in goals (four) and assists (five). Kaplan's dedication to training and her ability to elevate her teammates' performance have made her an invaluable player on the field. She has been coached by her mother, Courtney Kaplan, since she was in third grade. Anna will be attending Loyola of Maryland, a Division I school ranked in the top 10 in women's lacrosse this season. With a successful high school career behind her, Kaplan is confident that she will learn and grow under the guidance of her coaches at Loyola.
