Ryan Hill,

Ryan Hill is a journalist based in San Diego, California. In his nearly three years with ABC 10News, he has covered local news with a focus on homelessness advocacy and affordable housing. He previously reported for CBS13 in Sacramento and KFOX14/CBS4 in El Paso, Texas. During his time in Sacramento, he covered the LNU Complex Fire and the Glass Fire that impacted Northern California. Ryan also reported on the social and economic changes brought by the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as the George Floyd protests in Sacramento. In El Paso, he covered city and county government, state legislation, a hospital bankruptcy case, a downtown arena project, border issues, and political events such as a presidential campaign rally and Pope Francis' visit to Ciudad Juarez. Ryan has also filled in on the anchor desk and the CBS4 Sports desk. He is a graduate of the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication.
