Mary Markos,
Mary Markos is a general assignment reporter who joined NBC10 Boston and NECN in March of 2020 as a digital producer and began working as a part-time on-air reporter in August 2022. She came on full-time in May 2023. Prior to joining NBC10 Boston and NECN, she was the Boston Herald's capitol correspondent at the Massachusetts State House for two years. She also worked as a staff writer at the Salem News, the Gloucester Daily Times, and the Jewish Journal. Mary grew up in Ipswich, Massachusetts, studied English Literature at the University of New Hampshire and has lived and worked in Greater Boston area throughout her career. When she is not reporting, she enjoys playing golf, practicing piano and spending time on the ocean.
