Bridget Chavez is a two-time Emmy award-winning reporter currently working for KIRO 7. She is known for her work in cities such as Washington D.C., Reno, Nevada, and Portland, Oregon. Her journalism career has been marked by covering memorable events like the historic protests in Portland in 2020 and the historic wildfires of 2020 in Oregon. Bridget is proud of giving a voice to the voiceless and helping spark change for the better, particularly for the Hispanic/Latinx community. In her free time, she enjoys various outdoor activities such as running, rock climbing, mountaineering, hiking, and snowboarding with her Dalmation named Truckee. She also likes spending time with family and friends and reading on rainy days.
