Mary Calkins
Mary Calkins is a multi-media journalist currently based in<dummy00014>charlotte, North Carolina. She joined WBTV This Morning in August 2022 after working as a reporter and anchor in Augusta, Georgia. During her time there, she covered medical research, court cases, and the Masters Tournament. Her primary focus was on local and state politics including the 2021 Georgia Senate runoff, the 2023 gubernatorial election campaign, and Augusta's 2023 mayoral runoff. Mary is a graduate of the University of Georgia where she studied journalism and political science. She has also worked as a city crime reporter for The Red & Black and an editorial intern for Georgia Magazine.
