Julia Romero is a skilled and experienced news reporter based in Las Vegas. She began her career as an on-air news reporter and anchor right after college in her hometown. In 2021, she joined 8 News Now as a digital content producer. Prior to that, Julia worked for seven years as a newscast producer at another Las Vegas television station. Her dedication to breaking news coverage has earned her multiple awards and nominations, including a Regional Edward R. Murrow and Emmy Award for her work during the 1 October shooting in 2017.
